138 years ago, the Berlin Conference destroyed Africa. Our language became a vernacular, and our people were separated from their brothers and sisters across alien borders.
In the early mornings of November 15, 1884, a group of aliens began the first of many round table discussions that would lead to the eventual destruction and subjugation of Africa.
“138 years ago, the Berlin Conference destroyed Africa. The Yorùbá language became a vernacular, and the Yorùbá people were separated from their brothers and sisters” voiced by @AareKurunmi at a symposium marking this day yesterday
With wine and feasts, they celebrated the birth of what may well be the first truly unipolar order on earth.
With pragmatism, mutual understanding, and respecting their respective interests, they went to conquer, subjugate and impoverish the rest of humanity while they entered a period of growth, prosperity, affluence and abundance that still last to this day.
These actions and many others that followed led to the culture and prism through which they view and relate to the world continuously.
It is their history, experience and understanding that still shape the world on its exploitation route. They know without these systems, they are likely to fall to ruin. In “The Rule-Based Order”, they rule with an iron fist with rules we made without our consent.

Like yesterday, today and each day that passes is a sad one.
It’s another day to remember the oríburúkú that was forced upon us at the end of a gun barrel.
It is another day to legalise our collective oríburúkú and renew it.
It is a day of shame, tears and pain.
But a pain that will surely end someday. But what is beyond now?
